BUMU Art Gallery is dedicated to promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Buganda Kingdom while fostering a global appreciation for art.
Located in the heart of Buganda Kingdom within the Buganda Cultural Centre, next to the Butikkiro (Katikkiro’s official residence) and just a stone’s throw away from Twekobe – Kabaka’s palace – BUMU Art Gallery’s primary objective is to support and nurture visual artists from all over Uganda and give them an opportunity to exhibit their work to the public, collectors, the media, and cultural and educational institutions.
